Job Title: Quality Control Specialist
Job Description:
The Quality Control Specialist will ensure vendor compliance with company policies, procedures, and finished product standards. This role involves assisting in the implementation and improvement of global quality and food safety programs.
Responsibilities:
+ Support and maintain vendor compliance for the QA & Regulatory Department, including managing vendor QA, finished product standards, safety data sheets, allergen, GMO, kosher, Halal, Prop 65, labeling documentation, regulatory certificates, and finished product standards.
+ Support and maintain regulatory documentation for all vendors, including HACCP, kosher, recall policy, FDA compliance, FDA standards, certificates of information, and third-party regulatory questionnaires.
+ Support and maintain regulatory documentation for all finished products, ensuring adherence to HACCP, kosher, recall policy, FDA compliance, FDA standards, certificates of information, and third-party regulatory requirements.
Essential Skills:
+ Proficiency in compliance, quality assurance, and quality audit.
+ Experience in customer support and regulatory processes.
+ Bachelor's degree in food science, chemistry, or a related field.
+ 2-5 years of experience in documentation.
+ Experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, and data entry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
+ Ability to improve vendor systems.
+ Vendor-facing experience.
Work Environment:
+ The Quality Control Specialist will work closely with the quality, lab, and leadership teams to ensure process and regulatory compliance.

This is a Permanent position based out of Newport News, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
