    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Technician to join our automotive diagnostics team. This role focuses heavily on vehicle communication systems, diagnostics, and ECU flashing using industry-standard tools. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of CAN communication and hands-on experience with Vector tools. Key Responsibilities: • Perform diagnostics and ECU flashing on automotive systems using Vector tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer, vFlash). • Support development and validation of vehicle communication protocols via CAN. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to vehicle software and communication. • Collaborate with engineering teams to execute test plans and document results. • Maintain accurate records of flashing activities and diagnostic procedures. • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all operations. Required Qualifications: • Associate’s degree or technical certification in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field. • Basic understanding of CAN communication protocols. • Familiarity with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, vFlash). • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in automotive diagnostics or ECU flashing. • Knowledge of UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) and automotive communication standards. • Prior experience working in a manufacturing or vehicle testing environment.

    This is a Contract position based out of Sturgis, MI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
