    Job Title: Industrial Engineer

     

    We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer with a strong experience in OEM or similar industries. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience and a solid understanding of stamping, kitting, packaging, and material production areas. This role requires daily onsite work in Flint, MI, and involves utilizing tools such as GMOS (Global Material Optimization Standards) and STDS (Standard Time Data Studies).

    Responsibilities

    + Optimize material flow and production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

    + Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve operational effectiveness.

    + Conduct standard time data studies to ensure accurate production timelines.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline dock-to-production line processes.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 4 years experience in industrial engineering within an OEM or similar environment.

    + Proficiency in lean manufacturing and material flow techniques.

    + Experience with GMOS (Global Material Optimization Standards).

    + Knowledge of STDS (Standard Time Data Studies).

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with MODAPTS is advantageous.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

    Work Environment

    The position is based onsite in Flint, MI, requiring daily attendance. The role involves working with advanced industrial engineering tools and collaborating with various departments to optimize production processes.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Flint, MI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $44.00/hr.
