Job Description
Join a dynamic Retail Studio in Seattle as an Intermediate Architectural Staff member. This role is perfect for individuals who excel in collaborative environments and are dedicated to producing high-quality construction documents in a fast-paced setting. You will be part of a supportive team, making an immediate impact while focusing on detail-oriented design execution.
Pay: $29.00 – $36.00/hour
Schedule: Hybrid – Monday through Thursday in-office, Friday hybrid
Responsibilities
+ Produce full sets of construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details
+ Apply building codes and technical detailing to design projects
+ Coordinate with consultants and internal teams to ensure project success
+ Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and other design tools effectively
+ Support site planning, material selection, and cost estimating processes
+ Engage in light project management and client interaction when necessary
Qualifications
+ Proficient in Revit for detailed, code-compliant construction documentation
+ Strong understanding of building codes and technical coordination
+ Experience with retail projects and construction documentation
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills
+ Ability to meet deadlines and contribute to team success
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with high-volume retail rollout projects (food & beverage preferred)
+ Ability to mentor junior staff and support team coordination
+ Comfortable engaging with clients and supporting project communication
+ Familiarity with AutoCAD, architecture production workflows, and construction administration
