    Job Title: Logistics Engineering Analyst

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Logistics Engineering Analyst to support a long-term project. This role involves interpreting and analyzing engineering data to support the development of a logistics product database. The ideal candidate will have a back ground in engineering analysis and an understanding of logistics support planning for complex systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Analyze and interpret engineering data, including hard copy engineering drawings.

    + Support the development and maintenance of a logistics product database.

    + Translate engineering data into actionable logistics insights.

    + Collaborate with Aviation Logistics Engineering (ALE) to forecast maintenance needs and support sustainment planning.

    + Participate in initial training in Columbus, OH, and maintain coordination with the Columbus-based team.

    Essential Skills

    + Independent Analysis Capability: Must be able to perform technical analysis and communicate findings clearly in written form.

    + Engineering Drawing Interpretation: Strong skills in reading and interpreting engineering schematics are essential.

    + Customer Representation: The role involves being the sole company representative at a customer site, requiring professionalism and confidence.

    + Report Writing: Ability to produce monthly status reports and written feedback on technical deliverables.

    + Software Proficiency: Experience with analysis tools (e.g., FEA software, stress analysis software, complex databases) is highly desirable.

    + Security Clearance Eligibility: Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

    + Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is strongly preferred, but candidates with a technical degree or relevant experience will be considered.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Mechanical Aptitude: Hands-on familiarity with mechanical systems, such as automotive or aviation, is a plus.

    + Familiarity with standards such as DOD, TA-STD-0017, and GEIA-STD-0007.

    + Experience with logistics, mechanical engineering, aerospace, purchase orders, and technical support.

    Work Environment

    The position is based on-site at a client location in Evandale, OH, within the aerospace industry. Initial 1-2 week in-person onboarding in Columbus, OH will be followed by virtual training. The role offers the opportunity to be the sole representative for the company on a significant project with a reputable aerospace client.

    This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
