    Job Title: 2nd and 3rd Shift Machinist

    Job Description

    Responsible for the manufacture of parts per print specifications in an accurate and timely manner utilizing manual and CNC machine centers. He/she may also make or repair machine tools and maintain industrial machines.

    Responsibilities

    + Manufacture parts according to print specifications using manual and CNC machine centers.

    + Edit and adjust CNC Machining programs using Mazatrol controls.

    + Setup and operate a variety of machine tools to manufacture parts as per specifications.

    + Check all diameters and dimensions to ensure accuracy.

    + Study blueprints and plan efficient ways to manufacture parts.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in CNC programming.

    + Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD, FeatureCam, and Mastercam.

    + Ability to read blueprints accurately.

    + Expertise in CNC machining and editing programs with Mazatrol controls.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with CNC milling.

    + Ability to setup and run a variety of machine tools.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The employee works in a factory environment and is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and works near moving mechanical parts.
