    Job Title: CNC Machinist

    Job Description

    The CNC Machinist is a skilled professional responsible for the operation and setup of CNC Mills. The candidate should be proficient in performing setups, selecting appropriate tooling, and downloading and editing CNC programs directly at the machine. The ability to read and interpret blueprints and accurately measure using calipers and micrometers is essential.

    Responsibilities

    + Setup and safely operate Haas CNC Mills.

    + Translate blueprint information to the workpiece.

    + Utilize tape measures, squares, scribes, calipers, protractors, punches, and micrometers effectively.

    + Perform setups involving blocking, aligning, and securing pieces, including knowledge of jigs and fixtures.

    + Download and edit programs at the machine, selecting proper speeds, feeds, tooling, and operational sequences.

    + Complete labor reports, material issues, Kit lists, scrap reports, and material moves accurately.

    + Understand production schedules and track releases.

    + Perform routine maintenance on Haas mills and lathes, including maintaining coolant levels, removing chips and debris, and ensuring a clean and organized work area.

    + Use hand, bench, and light machine operations to deburr, file, grind, and polish sawed and machined parts.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment operates on a 1st shift schedule. Overtime is voluntary on Fridays or potentially Saturdays. The facility is clean, well-lit.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Beaver Dam, WI.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $47000.00 - $74000.00/yr.
