    Job Title: Quality Manager

    Job Description

    A well-established manufacturing company in western Missouri is seeking a skilled Quality Manager for second shift operations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes, ensuring that all machined parts meet specifications, and coordinating with production teams to address and resolve quality issues.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead and manage quality control efforts for machined components.

    + Review and analyze inspection reports to identify non-conforming parts.

    + Collaborate with machining teams to adjust processes based on inspection data.

    + Oversee CMM programming and operations (Zeiss/Calypso experience preferred).

    + Ensure compliance with ISO, AS, and IATF standards.

    + Develop and maintain quality documentation, including control plans, work instructions, and inspection procedures.

    + Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

    + Manage internal and external audits.

    + Monitor and report on key quality metrics (e.g., scrap rates, first-pass yield, customer complaints).

    + Train and mentor quality technicians and inspectors.

    + Work cross-functionally with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement.

    + Maintain calibration schedules and ensure measurement equipment is properly maintained.

    + Communicate with customers and vendors regarding quality concerns and resolutions.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Technical education preferred with a strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications.

    + Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory standards.

    + Proficiency in root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA).

    + Strong organizational and communication skills.

    + Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.

    The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
