    Industrial Electrical Foreman - $34-38/hr

    Job Description

    The Electrical Foreman will oversee a team of electricians and ensure the successful execution of electrical projects. This role is responsible for coordinating daily tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide leadership in safety, health, and environmental practices on the job site.

    + Conduct safety orientations and lead safety meetings.

    + Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians to ensure project goals are met.

    + Inspect work areas for unsafe conditions and take corrective actions.

    + Enforce safe work behaviors and practices.

    + Ensure compliance with NEC rules and codes.

    + Ensure design documents for electrical components (e.g., raceway, cable tray, wire) are available to the team.

    + Coordinate with other foremen and superintendents to align work activities.

    + Assist in preparing material requisitions for tools and consumables.

    + Maintain the look-ahead schedule for labor and equipment.

    + Prepare reports on construction progress, personnel forecasts, and expenditures.

    + Plan manpower and equipment needs for project execution.

    + Observe installed equipment to identify hazards or necessary adjustments.

    + Assist with estimating new projects and opportunities.

    + Complete paperwork such as timesheets, change orders, safety reports, and accident reports.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong technical skills in electrical work, including conduit and working knowledge of NEC code.

    + Ability to lead a crew of 2-4 electricians on various projects.

    + Field installation experience on industrial projects, including low/high voltage, running conduit, setting up cabinets, disconnecting cabinets, and knowledge of controls, instrumentation, and PLCs.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Journeyman License preferred.

    + Ability to use iPad and Excel for documentation in the field.

    + Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    Work on various industrial projects, including capital projects, expansions, new machine installations, and electrical system upgrades in heavy industrial environments such as aluminum plants, chemical plants, and energy plants.

     

    Shift

     

    The work schedule is Monday-Thursday from 6:45am-5:30pm, with occasional work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays as needed for projects. Overtime is available almost every week, often working five 10-hour days.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Ladson, SC.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $70720.00 - $79040.00/yr.

     

    Direct hire - Medical, dental, vision and 401K

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Ladson,SC.
