    Production Supervisor Needed in Nashville $28-31/hr!

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the activities of our press operators and production staff. The role involves ensuring efficient and timely production, maintaining press equipment, and adhering to quality and safety standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Supervise and coordinate activities of press operators and production staff to ensure efficient and timely production.

    + Monitor and maintain press equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

    + Conduct regular inspections of the production line to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the production process.

    + Train and mentor new employees on press operations and safety procedures.

    + Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports as required.

    + Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.

    + Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

    + Provide overall leadership, direction, and coordination for shift operations.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 3 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role within the printing or manufacturing industry.

    + Expertise in overseeing press operations and maintenance.

    + Knowledge of printing industry standards, procedures, and best practices.

    + Ability to troubleshoot and resolve press-related issues.

    + Proficiency in using press equipment and related software.

    + Excellent communication and leadership skills.

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    + Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

    + Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience managing over 15 employees.

    + Six Sigma certification.

    + Scheduling experience.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
