We are seeking a Site Civil Engineer to join our dynamic Florida Team in one of the following Florida offices: Gainesville, Orlando, Jacksonville, and Tampa, and support water and wastewater infrastructure design projects. This is your opportunity to work on transformative projects that improve communities and the environment.
As a key member of our Civil Site team, you’ll contribute to multi-disciplinary designs for:
* Water and wastewater collection and treatment facilities
* Conveyance systems
* Site development projects
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing planning/study documents, preliminary and detailed designs, permitting packages, and engineering reports
* Designing site civil layouts, grading, drainage (hydrology and hydraulics), utilities, and erosion control systems
* Reviewing designs and collaborating with project teams from concept through construction

* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a ABET-accredited program
* Minimum 5 years relevant of experience
* Proven experience in:
* Site layout
* Grading and drainage design
* Stormwater design
* Utility and conveyance layout and design
* Roadway and pavement design
* Erosion and sedimentation control design
* Stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) development
* Experience assembling and reviewing construction drawings and specifications
* Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have
* Proficiency CADD tools such as Microstation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
* Familiarity with one or more of the following drainage modeling software: StormWise, Storm & Sanitary, Culvert Master, Flow Master
