Job Title: Mechanic/Lube Technician

Job Description

Join a family-owned automotive service center recognized as one of the largest independent Automotive shops in the United States. We are looking for an Auto Technician/Lube technician to join our team. If you have experience working on cars/trucks at home you are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

+ Perform routine and preventative maintenance, including oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotations.

+ Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using both computerized diagnostic equipment and practical experience.

+ Repair or replace worn or malfunctioning parts, such as brakes, suspension, exhaust, and batteries.

+ Mount, balance, and install new tires, and repair flats.

+ Perform vehicle inspections, including Pennsylvania State Inspection and Emissions tests.

+ Conduct wheel alignments to improve vehicle performance and maximize tire life.

+ Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized..

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled, clean, and organized garage/shop environment1st Shift 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with two days off per week,

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewistown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
