    Job Title: Machine Operator

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a Machine Operator where you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, including Okuma Lathe machines and Seiki Mills. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that parts meet quality standards by reading and interpreting blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings. Your duties will include measuring and inspecting finished parts, monitoring machine operations, performing routine maintenance, maintaining a clean work area, and collaborating with team members to achieve production goals.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate CNC machines, including Okuma Lathe machines and Seiki Mills.

    + Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.

    + Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality standards.

    + Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain product quality and efficiency.

    + Perform routine maintenance on machines and report any mechanical issues.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.

    + Complete production logs and documentation accurately and on time.

    + Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience operating CNC Mills and Lathes.

    + Previous experience in a machine shop environment.

    + Energetic and willing to train.

    + Desire to pursue a career in machining.

    + Ability to lift 50lbs.

    + Proficiency in English communication.

    + Excellent blueprint and schematic reading skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience operating CNC Mills and Lathes.

    + Previous experience in a machine shop environment.

    + Blueprint and schematic reading experience.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
