Job Title: Kitting Specialist

Job Description

This role involves supporting the production area by creating kits of materials and delivering them to the production line. The Kitting Specialist will keep track of inventory levels, ensuring that all necessary parts and materials are available for production.

Responsibilities

+ Collect and package required components into kits for assembly or manufacturing processes.

+ Inspect parts and materials for defects or discrepancies before including them in kits.

+ Maintain accurate records of inventory, kits, and any discrepancies or issues that arise.

+ Work closely with other departments, such as production and procurement, to ensure timely and accurate kitting.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in inventory management and kitting.

+ Ability to perform quality control by inspecting parts and materials.

+ Strong documentation skills for maintaining accurate records.

+ Effective coordination skills for working with production and procurement departments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in general labor and packaging.

+ Proficiency in data entry and using RF scanners.

+ Comfortable operating a forklift.

Work Environment

The role requires operating a forklift, and working in a dynamic warehouse environment where accuracy and efficiency are crucial.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
