    Job Title: Lead Batch Mixer

    Job Description

    We are looking for a dedicated Lead Batch Mixer to join our dynamic production team. This role involves managing raw materials, ensuring quality control, and operating advanced machinery to produce high-quality powder coatings. Successful candidates will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Weigh and load raw materials into mixers.

    + Operate forklifts to transport products.

    + Set up and operate computer-controlled equipment.

    + Record operational data accurately.

    + Clean and disassemble equipment as necessary.

    + Test batch quality and cleanliness.

    + Collect cabin powder to minimize waste.

    + Provide relief for co-workers during breaks.

    + Maintain cleanliness and meet 7S standards.

    + Apply Lean Manufacturing principles.

    + Manage operation of extruders, mills, and sieves.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, machine operation, and batch mixing.

    + Forklift experience (certification not required).

    + Manufacturing experience with powders.

    + Strong organizational skills and initiative.

    + Basic math and strong documentation skills.

    + Experience in inventory management.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Powder coating experience is preferred.

    + Experience with blenders, mixers, and extruders.

    + Basic computer skills, SAP knowledge is a plus.

    Work in a temperature-controlled facility producing high-quality powder coatings for industries like automotive and military. Our fast-paced environment is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who thrive on learning and taking initiative. The facility is clean and organized, with a large break room and available showers. Employees are encouraged to be proactive and self-sufficient.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Charles, IL.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
