Job Description:
The Electromechanical Assembly position involves skilled technician work focused on the diagnosis, repair, and assembly of mechanical and electronic equipment, particularly in the aerospace sector. The role requires strong assembly experience and the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics. Responsibilities
+ Perform skilled technician work involving diagnosis, replacement, repair, and rebuilding of various equipment and systems.
+ Use diagnostic equipment and a variety of tools specific to the trade.
+ Apply principles and practices of electrical and electronics theory.
+ Interpret and follow technical manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and schematics.
+ Assist with research and development of new repair capabilities, including reading new manuals and training.
+ Maintain shop equipment and supplies.
+ Assist in the development and training of new technicians.
+ Conduct in-process and final inspections of all work in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
Essential Skills
+ Strong assembly experience.
+ Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical devices such as motors, pneumatic valves, and lighting systems.
+ Ability to use common hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
+ Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and component schematics.
+ Basic soldering and wiring skills, particularly for circuit board repair.
+ Basic personal computer skills, including Word and Excel.
+ Fluency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with circuit board assembly, repair, and soldering.
+ Experience with microscope assembly, SMT soldering, SMT assembly, thru-hole assembly.
+ Knowledge of IPC 610 and IPC 620 standards.
+ Microscope experience is required for 4 of the 15 positions.
+ Light balancing room experience is a nice-to-have.
+ Previous aerospace experience.
+ IPC certifications will get the top of the pay scale.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.90/hr.
