    Job Description

    Join our team as a Facilities Assistant where you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and order of our building. You will be responsible for following a set daily route to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently, including managing restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and office spaces.

    Responsibilities

    + Follow a set daily route to clean 12 restrooms, 2 break rooms, hallways, and office spaces.

    + Handle emergency clean-ups as necessary.

    + Occasionally put on a bunny suit to assist in cleaning cleanrooms, with training provided beforehand.

    + Coordinate with and guide outside vendors, ensuring proper sign-in and sign-out procedures.

    + Track work orders and complete assigned tasks independently.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in custodial, cleaning, and janitorial work.

    + Proficiency in cleaning commercial spaces.

    + Ability to track work orders effectively.

    + Fluent in English, with strong speaking and writing skills.

    + Experience in building vendor relationships.

    + Familiarity with Microsoft Office.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience as a Commercial Janitor, Custodian, or Cleaner.

    + Proficiency in mopping and other cleaning techniques.

    + Ability to perform minor repairs.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is based in a manufacturing environment with specific cleanrooms. The regular shift is from 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of switching to a day shift starting at 6:30 am. The work is primarily independent, with occasional collaboration with a team of five other facilities assistants.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
