Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking construction laborer to assist skilled workers in ensuring timely completion of projects. Candidates should have a basic understanding of construction and be open to learning and following directions. Experience with hand and power tools such as saws, drills, hammers, and rollers is beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

+ Assist skilled workers in construction tasks.

+ Ensure projects are completed on time.

+ Operate hand and power tools as needed.

+ Follow directions and learn new skills on the job.

Essential Skills

+ Basic understanding of construction processes.

+ Safety oriented and OSHA 10 Certified.

+ Reliable transportation.

+ Prior experience in a construction laborer role, carpentry, or sheet metal.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with single ply membrane, roofing, and shingle work.

+ Proficiency in using power tools.

Work Environment

Work in commercial settings such as hospitals, colleges, corporations, and schools. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with opportunities for overtime. All work is local to the Rochester area and surrounding counties.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairport, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
