    Job Title: Quality Control Technician

    **Shift:** Monday - Friday

     

    Will work 7am - 7:30pm for 2-3 months. Then transition to 6pm - 6:30am.

    Job Description

    Provide quality assurance support to the production team to ensure the highest quality standards and procedures are met. Perform detailed audits of in-process and finished products, document daily production processes, and collect data to analyze trends. Collaborate with quality control production teams to diagnose issues and implement corrective action procedures.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct internal quality audits to verify product compliance with company standards and tolerances.

    + Sample and test products at various stages of production.

    + Troubleshoot production and quality issues on the production floor and inspect products to ensure quality standards are within tolerance.

    + Perform internal and external calibration on all test equipment to ensure testing accuracy.

    + Assist the Quality Manager with assigned duties as necessary.

    + Complete training as directed by the supervisor.

    + Comply with all safety and company policies and procedures.

    + Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Quality assurance and control experience.

    + Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, micrometers.

    + Strong computer skills, including Excel data entry.

    + Confidence and critical thinking skills.

    + Dimensional analysis and tolerance analysis.

    + Troubleshooting skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Solid understanding of test equipment.

    + Working knowledge of mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions.

    + Ability to analyze and interpret information.

    + Recordkeeping and database management skills.

    + Complex problem-solving capabilities.

    + Monitoring and systems analysis skills.

    + Experience with product compliance and maintaining compliance systems to ISO standards.

    + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

    + Minimum of 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience.

    + Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; database and ERP system experience preferred.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a production environment that is loud, dirty, and dusty. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety toe shoes and safety glasses is required. The facility is not climate controlled. Shift timings are 7am - 7:30pm, Monday through Friday until the end of the year; the regular shift will be 6pm - 6:30am starting in the new year.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stroudsburg, PA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.18 - $25.18/hr.
