Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our team and ensure the efficient operation of our production systems. You will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by loading mixers, entering data into production systems, and operating processing equipment. Your efforts will contribute to the quality and performance of our products.

Responsibilities

+ Load mixers and prepare batches for production.

+ Perform data entry into production systems to maintain accurate records.

+ Operate and monitor processing equipment, ensuring proper start-up, shut-down, and lockout/tag-out procedures are followed.

+ Move and stage materials for production processes.

+ Package products according to specifications.

+ Utilize computerized display and control screens for monitoring and data entry.

+ Maintain accurate and proper documentation throughout the production process.

+ Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.

+ Use digital scales to measure materials in both metric and US standard units.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in assembly, production, and packaging operations.

+ Proficiency in machine operation and safety protocols.

+ Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and adhere to inspection and work instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience as an operator in a production setting.

+ Knowledge of production line processes and procedures.

Work Environment

The work schedule consists of shifts from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with some required weekday overtime. Flexibility may be offered based on experience, with potential shifts from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm or 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simpsonville, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
