    Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler

    Job Description

    We are seeking an entry-level electro-mechanical assembler to contribute to the construction of large transformers. This role involves wiring, installing circuit breakers and contactors, and assembling sheet metal and circuit boards. Candidates should be familiar with wiring larger cables, specifically 2 AWG (American Wire Gauge).

     

    6am to 2:30pm

     

    $17/hr

     

    OT required during the week and some Saturdays

    Responsibilities

    + Receive and execute work assignments, directions, instructions, and Work Order Schedule as provided by the Production Lead.

    + Familiarize with wire gauges (AWG), terminals, pins, lugs, and connectors typically used for wire harness fabrication.

    + Review assembly instructions, engineering drawings, or notes on the Bill of Materials (BOM) where available.

    + Use hand crimpers to create discrete wires and harnesses.

    + Assemble electronic subassemblies to install harnesses.

    + Maintain a safe and organized work area/room/station.

    + Ensure efficiency requirements and quality standards are met on a regular basis.

    + Follow all safety requirements and policies.

    + Determine job order requirements following production priorities.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with basic hand tools.

    + Familiarity with wiring larger cables, specifically 2 AWG.

    + Knowledge of wire gauges, terminals, pins, lugs, and connectors for wire harness fabrication.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Basic production experience or an eager, go-getter attitude - training will be provided.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Costa Mesa, CA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
