1st Shift Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shift Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth operations within our facility.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain manufacturing equipment such as roller machines, CNC, brake press, and punch press.

+ Fabricate equipment according to specifications.

+ Troubleshoot and repair machinery.

+ Maintain the facility and associated equipment.

+ Collaborate with maintenance vendors.

+ Complete and submit company purchase requisitions.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance.

+ Proficiency with pneumatics and PLCs, including troubleshooting.

+ Knowledge of 3-phase motors, specifically 220 voltage, is preferred.

+ Experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley Industrial Controls.

+ Ability to read blueprints and experience in fabrication.

+ Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial machine repair.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Journeyman card preferred.

+ Mechanically inclined and able to perform physical labor, including lifting and operating machinery.

+ Strong safety and attendance record.

+ Initiative and ability to work both in a team and individually.

+ Ability to multitask and work all shifts and overtime.

Work Environment

The position is located in a climate-controlled manufacturing and production facility for roofing products. The role requires flexibility with shifts, including the ability to work until 4:30 PM.
