Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
A growing industrial operation in the Midwest is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support second shift operations. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment and tools used in both shop and field environments. Additionally, the technician will handle general building upkeep, including basic construction tasks and seasonal maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, solid troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety in all aspects of the job.
Responsibilities
+ Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various industrial equipment, including CNC machinery, welding systems, material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, carts), and fabrication tools (e.g., plasma tables, lathes, mills, saws).
+ Conduct building maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, furniture moves, HVAC and plumbing repairs, snow removal, and landscaping.
+ Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
+ Manage subcontractors performing outsourced maintenance work.
+ Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
+ Collaborate with other departments to support operational efficiency.
+ Maintain and repair field tools.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
+ Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
+ Familiarity with 480V 3-phase systems.
+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.
+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
+ OSHA certification or willingness to obtain.
+ Strong computer literacy.
+ Must be punctual and safety-focused.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
