Job Title:** **1st Shift TIG Welder

**Pay:** $25–$33/hr (Based on Experience)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled **TIG Welder** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for TIG welding and assembly of stainless food-grade process equipment used in the food industry.

Responsibilities

+ Perform TIG welding (80%) and assembly (20%) of process equipment.

+ Weld and assemble pipes and pipe parts in acid-resistant stainless steel.

+ Conduct TIG welding (pulsating), both manually and mechanized.

+ Work in confined spaces, including crawling in and out of containers.

+ Perform process checks to meet quality standards.

+ Complete and submit labor work sheets as needed.

+ Participate in daily improvement activities and multi-skill training.

+ Engage in WCM/5S activities to meet company standards.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in TIG welding, especially on stainless steel.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Experience with food-grade welding.

+ Skilled in both manual and push-button TIG welding.

Additional Qualifications

+ TIG welding experience or relevant technical degree.

+ Comfortable working in confined spaces.

+ Willingness to learn and adapt.

+ Ability to pass welding tests, including:

+ **6G position** on 2 ½" Sch 40 pipe with a 45° bevel.

+ Fillet welds on T-plates and tests on small diameter tubing.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winsted, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
