Job Title: Assembly Technician – Level 1
Job Description
As an Assembly Technician – Level 1, you will assemble mechanical components and products based on engineering drawings and specifications. Utilizing hand and power tools, along with precision measuring instruments, you will ensure all products meet quality standards. You will maintain a clean, organized workspace, follow safety protocols, and work both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools.
+ Interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
+ Conduct quality checks and document production activities.
+ Package components and final products.
+ Maintain a clean, organized workspace aligned with 6S standards.
+ Adhere to all safety protocols.
+ Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency with assembly, hand tools, and power tools.
+ Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly.
+ Skill in using precision measuring tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Technical certificate or degree preferred.
+ 0-2 years of experience in mechanical assembly.
+ Previous mechanical assembly experience is a significant advantage.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, well-lit environment on the 1st shift from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Be prepared to lift up to 50 lbs. There are 10 openings available.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Lancaster, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
