    Job Title: Security Guard

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to protect property against damage, fire, theft, and unauthorized entry. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and security of our premises through regular inspections and adherence to safety protocols.

    Responsibilities

    + Guard property against damage, fire, theft, and unauthorized entry.

    + Conduct periodic rounds of buildings and grounds, examining doors, windows, and gates for security.

    + Enforce regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws.

    + Warn or evict individuals in the event of infractions.

    + Interview guests and employees to detect and investigate disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism, and incidents.

    + Report irregularities to management.

    + Provide assistance to accident victims and handle emergencies.

    + Lift and move equipment or individuals, and pursue and apprehend unauthorized persons when necessary.

    + Assist management and law enforcement officials in emergency situations.

    + Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.

    + Report all accidents and injuries promptly.

    + Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

    + Participate in regular safety meetings, training, and hazard assessments.

    + Apply OSHA and related local safety requirements to all work.

    + Attend designated training programs.

    + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

    + 0 to 2 years of related experience.

    + Ability to present oneself professionally with honesty and ethics.

    + Ability to maintain a positive attitude.

    + Strong communication skills with coworkers and other departments.

    + Ability to maintain professional relationships with coworkers, vendors, supervisors, and clients.

    + Ability to provide clear directions and respond accordingly.

    + Basic phone and computer skills (email, texting, etc.).

    + Attention to detail.

    + Ability to work well under pressure.

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    + Excellent management and organizational skills.

    + Ability to work well both alone and in a team.

    + Driver's License required.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
