Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for performing cycle counts, data entry, operating forklifts, and handling saw operations efficiently. A strong emphasis on safety is maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

+ Perform cycle counts accurately and efficiently.

+ Enter data into computer systems with precision.

+ Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.

+ Handle saw operations with care and attention to detail.

+ Maintain a strong focus on safety at all times.

Essential Skills

+ Proficient in forklift operation.

+ Experience in a warehouse environment.

+ Basic computer knowledge and math skills, including the ability to use a ruler.

+ 1+ years of experience in a metals facility or manufacturing-related environment.

+ High School Diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

+ Experience with inventory control, packing, and general labor.

+ Proficiency in using pallet jacks and handling shipping and receiving tasks.

Work Environment

Work in a warehouse and production setting with a focus on achieving high production numbers and efficiencies. The facility employs 150-160 full-time employees. The dress code includes jeans, t-shirts, steel-toed shoes, and personal protective equipment provided by the employer. Shifts are available as follows: 1st shift from 6am-2pm, 2nd shift from 2pm-10pm, and 3rd shift from 10pm-6am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.20 - $20.20/hr.
