As a Senior Lead Security Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Cybersecurity and Tech Controls, you will play a crucial role as part of an agile team dedicated to delivering software solutions that meet pre-defined functional and user requirements while also safeguarding against misuse, circumvention, and malicious behavior. Your expertise and contributions will promote significant business impact, as you apply your deep technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to address a wide range of cybersecurity challenges across various technology domains.

Job responsibilities

+ Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors

+ Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others

+ Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes

+ Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

+ Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML, such as Python, R, Java, and C++.

+ Strong experience of developing REST APIs in any programming language/framework

+ Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

+ Experienced with modern frontend frameworks and libraries like React or Angular.

+ Proficient in AI/ML techniques and skilled in advanced analytics.

+ Knowledge in Docker and Kubernetes in a public cloud environment

+ Strong Database skills with Oracle & DynamoDB and experience in tuning database queries, processing large amount of data.

+ Able to design and implement solutions that work against high-volume data sources.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

+ Python, Kubernetes and AWS certification is a plus.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Good experience on writing unit tests in python and React JS for a highly complex enterprise environment.

+ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab for automating software delivery
