Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Custodian – Freestone Recreation Center.

     

    The Custodian reports to the Custodial Supervisor. The primary function of this position is to cleaning and maintaining the Town's buildings and facilities, to include cleaning the interior and exterior of buildings, emptying trash, replenishing supplies, cleaning floor surfaces and bathrooms, moving furniture and equipment, setting up meeting rooms, performing light maintenance and basic repair work. Ideal candidates for this position will be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

     

    This position's hours will be working afternoons & evenings, Monday - Friday from 3PM - 11:30PM. These hours may be subject to change based on operational needs.

    + High School Diploma or G.E.D.

    + Six months of custodial experience and/or training involving custodial work

    + Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work

    + Valid Arizona Driver's License

    + Knowledge of National Fire Protection Association standards

    + Skill in general maintenance techniques, safe equipment practices and/or general cleaning practices

    + Working in a team environment

    + Customer Service
