As a **Chemical Operations Plant Manager** at Solstice Advanced Materials, is responsible for leading and managing 175 employees in the manufacturing environment that produces $100MM+ in annual revenue. This role supports the Performance Materials and Technology Group within Solstice Advanced Materials division. In this role you will also be responsible for ensuring a strong safety culture while satisfying internal and external customer needs. This role provides input and implements the Integrated Supply Chain strategy, while managing the plant to ensure availability of adequate resources to produce the planned and budgeted volumes to be delivered on-time, and that meet our Quality and Safety standards. This role leads, motivates, and is responsible for building a team in a collaborative environment, by conveying and driving a compelling vision, focused on lean methodologies while continuously improving productivity while developing a results-driven culture.
You will report directly to our **Director ISC Site Leader** , and you’ll work out of our **Colonial Heights, VA** location.
Responsibilities
+ Provides leadership and direction to the successful day-to-day operation of the facility.
+ Is responsible for managing, reviewing, and enforcing all internal control policies and procedure to ensure full compliance with Honeywell policies and procedures.
+ Drives Safety as a Core Value, continuously developing and improving work processes to achieve and sustain a zero (0) incident safety environment while engaging their workforce/team.
+ Assumes responsibility for the health and safety of all employees to include third party contractors working onsite or visiting the facility.
+ Initiates, maintains, drives, and supports a site wide housekeeping program, implementing 5S principles ensuring all members of the manufacturing team are aligned, aware, and support driving our Safety culture and guidelines.
+ Reviews established production schedules for all manufacturing departments to ensure established inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible.
+ Manages all resources to successfully deliver results in Quality, Cost, Safety, Delivery and Employee morale.
+ Drives the RCA process to completion at the proper level in the organization ensuring completion and implementation of sustainable corrective/preventive actions by leading efforts to empower team members to resolved issues and follow up on problem solving efforts.
+ Is responsible for managing and directing a unionized manufacturing production environment that operates on a twenty-four/seven (24/7) schedule.
+ Drives Safety as a Core Value, continuously developing and improving work processes to achieve and sustain a zero (0) incident safety environment while engaging their workforce/team.
+ Ensures open lines of communication between Operations, Maintenance and Engineering
+ Reports daily metrics and KPIs to the team and site leadership through Tier daily meetings.
+ Develops and implements both short and long-term plans to align with plant vision and strategy. Identifies opportunities and secures necessary resources to close all performance gaps.
+ Resolve issues on shift and demonstrates servant leadership while managing the team from a company's perspective that mirrors ownership in line with Honeywell Core Behaviors and Values.
+ Responsible for managing a production leadership team and unionized workforce by effective training, accountability, performance expectations and reviews and succession planning.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Supply Chain or Engineering strongly preferred
+ At least 2 years of fundamental knowledge and experience within a supply chain or large manufacturing environment
+ Effective at leading and managing change transforming an operation into a high performing work system
+ Trust and empowers teams while setting expectations and holding employees accountable
+ Ability to tactfully handle challenging interpersonal situations and influencing people
+ Ability to deliver results consistently while possessing a strong sense of urgency with positive discontent
+ Strong problem solving and intervention identification using RCA methodology

COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range for this position is $150k - $220k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice Advanced Materials considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities or the position, the candidate's work experience education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
