    Key Responsibilities

    + The APP will be responsible for the evaluation and management of patients with chronic kidney disease requiring hemodialysis and work with physicians in determining best management.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with National Board.

    + Certification and Colorado state license.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 2-3 years of relevant experience

    + Experienced in chronic dialysis

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    + Knowledge base in renal pathophysiology required to provide care in patients with chronic kidney disease

    + Proficient in managing patients with cardiac and kidney disease

    Instructor (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for Dialysis) - 38169 Faculty

    This is an opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to see chronic kidney disease and dialysis patients in an outpatient setting. :

     

    + Oversee management of patients on maintenance hemodialysis.

    + Perform history and physical examinations

    + Review diagnostic testing,

    + Check medication dosages and adjusting medications,

    + Check laboratory values

    + General assessment and provide educational guidance to patients with advanced chronic kidney disease and requiring hemodialysis

     

    - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado
