    Description

    The purpose of this position is to support key GVC initiatives, provide thought leadership to identify new Value Creation Opportunities and influence key stakeholders to deliver sustainable change.

     

    In collaboration with Brands, Functions, Regions drive identification, evaluation, planning and implementation of GVC initiatives, ensuring effective Project Management, Planning and Governance, enabling quality and timely Execution, Reporting, and sustainable Change Management. Prior background should be either Affiliate, Region, Brand experience or Strategy Consulting with significant exposure to Marketing, Retail, Sales projects with a solid track record of delivering results and key thought leadership.

    Key responsibilities:

    Support the GVC VP to develop the GVC Strategy and LRP processes, for each project assigned/coordinated

    + Define 3 year ambition from maximizing existing projects and initiatives and from new initiatives

    + Ensure full alignment and buy⁃in from Finance Leadership, Project Managers/Owners, Brands and Functions

    + Ensure LRP and Budget targets are based on actionable building blocks with clear KPIs

    Enable Effective and Efficient Governance for each project assigned/coordinated

    + Ensure each assigned GVC Initiative/Project has accountability and ownership clearly defined and communicated

    + Support effective relationship between the Project Manager, the Project Owners and the Executive Business Owners

    + Help the Project Manager in running effective Steering Committees and ensuring proper action items tracking

    + Escalate gaps and assist to drive resolution

    + Ensure Savings delivery through financial analysis (Estimates, Run Rates) and KPI tracking. Drive gap closure where savings are below Plan

    Support effective Project Management his/her/their projects

    + Partner with each Project Manager to enable quality Project management, using the Company PM framework and toolkit

    + Enable preparation of Project Initiation, Business case, Charter, Plans, as well as Execution and Change Management

    + Support the Project team in case of need and connect to the right internal capabilities for help if needed

    + Help assessing Project and Project Manager Performance every 6 months to keep improving Project management effectiveness, provide inputs to PM PDP to Project Owner

    Enable Execution of projects

    + Assist in the implementation of improvement recommendations and support ongoing execution

    + Assist to develop key metrics and financial analysis for measuring progress

    + Assist to deliver change management communications

    Drive New Value Identification

    + Perform financial analysis, operational reviews, benchmarking to discover new areas of value creation

    + Assist to ensure best practices are implemented and shared across brands, functions, regions and affiliates

    + Initiate new initiatives, new GVC led⁃efforts or new capabilities and share them to senior management

    + Leverage regional initiatives to unlock new opportunities

    Qualifications

    + MBA from leading institution

    + Minimum 15 years of experience

    + Significant Operational or Strategy experience in an Affiliate, Regional or Brand role in ELC or FMCG companies in Sales & Marketing and Retail

    + Solid track record of Strong Change/Transformational Leadership and Positive Influencing to drive results

    + Proven Business partnership, Value Creation attitude, Problem Solving and Analytical skills

    + Strong Strategic Thinking

    + Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
