Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Solutions Engineer to join our Supply Chain and Procurement Technology portfolio team. This is a hands-on leadership role for guiding a team of developers across full stack technologies, React.js, Node.js, Postgress database. Candidate will oversee end-to-end development, coordinate with business partners, EAM platform (Maximo), Cloud infrastructure, enterprise integration, CI/CD teams to deliver and maintain a high-quality product. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in modern web applications, Dev-Ops practices.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
+ Participate in analysis sessions and support business analysts to document application requirements.
+ Architect and develop responsive front-end applications using React.js.
+ Build and maintain robust back-end services and APIs using Node.js.
+ Design and manage data models and integrations with Postgress database.
+ Coordinate with cloud infrastructure team to deploy scalable, secure applications using AWS services.
+ Configure and maintain the CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployments.
+ Collaborate with enterprise integration teams to ensure secure and stable communication between systems.
+ Provide support for production environments, including root cause analysis, incident management and change management procedures.
+ Collaborate with IT security teams to implement IAM and access controls.
+ Ensure adherence to business continuity and disaster recovery standards and planning.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Solution Engineer Sr (SG7):
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field is required.
Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
Solution Engineer Prin (SG8):
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field is required.
Experience: 7 years relevant work experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
+ Familiarity and experience with Agile/Scrum framework.
+ Proficient in React.js, Node.js and Postgress SQL.
+ Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud architecture and services.
+ Strong experience with CI/CD (GitHub), enterprise integration toolsets, and IAM configurations.
+ Understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
NICE TO HAVE:
+ AWS certification (Solutions Architect).
+ Experience with containerization and orchestration concepts.
+ Utility industry experience preferred.
+ Understanding of ERP systems (Maximo, PeopleSoft, Oracle) and related databases.
