Position Title: Special Education Teacher – EC Resource

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 2025–2026 School Year

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 2:30 PM

Hours/Week: 37.5

Position Overview:

Sandy Grove Elementary is seeking a qualified EC Resource Teacher to support students with disabilities through specialized instruction and services. This role includes working in a resource room setting and providing inclusive support within general education classrooms. The teacher will work closely with the Exceptional Children (EC) Department, which is known for its commitment to staff development and student success.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Deliver targeted instruction in small groups or one-on-one settings

+ Support inclusion efforts in general education classrooms

+ Collaborate with the EC team and general education staff

+ Participate in IEP development and implementation

+ Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations

Minimum Requirements:

+ Active North Carolina EC General Curriculum (K–12) License
