    Addiction Counselor

     

    Pay: $40-48 / hour

     

    Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am - 4pm

     

    Requirement: Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) certification OR Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) license

    Amergis Staffing is seeking a dedicated Addiction Counselor to join our team in Pinellas County. In this role, you will provide counseling and support services to students dealing with substance use challenges, helping them develop coping strategies and achieve personal and educational goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Conduct individual and group counseling sessions focused on substance use prevention and recovery.

    + Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to student needs.

    + Provide education on substance abuse, relapse prevention, and healthy coping mechanisms.

    + Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with Amergis and Job Corps standards.

    + Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic student care.
