    The Technical Intern provides support to the Information Technology, Engineering, and Research & Development teams by assisting with technical projects, troubleshooting, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in a corporate environment while contributing meaningful work that supports Valvoline Global’s technology operations and business objectives.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in hardware, software, or applications.

    + Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation activities.

    + Perform data entry, reporting, and analysis to support decision-making.

    + Collaborate with team members on technical documentation and process standardization.

    + Participate in project meetings, contribute ideas, and help track deliverables.

    + Conduct research on emerging technologies and recommend solutions where appropriate.

    + Provide end-user support under supervision, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.

    + Maintain confidentiality of information and ensure compliance with company standards.

    Qualifications

    + Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

    + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

    + Basic knowledge of computer systems, applications, and networking concepts.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

    + Effective verbal and written communication skills.

    + Ability to work independently with guidance and collaborate within a team environment.

    + High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
