    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Sr. System Administrator to be located in the Colorado Springs area. This role involves comprehensive system administration, configuration management, and release engineering across multi-forest enterprise environments. Responsibilities include maintaining Linux and Windows Server infrastructures, supporting software deployments and database maintenance (Oracle and SQL), and troubleshooting system performance and network connectivity. The position also requires deploying Mission Unique Software in virtualized and containerized environments (VMware, Kubernetes, Docker), managing Active Directory and cross-forest authentication, and administering internal PKI Certificate Authority infrastructure in compliance with DoD and corporate standards. Additional duties include developing SOPs, performing system patching and antivirus updates, conducting Continuous Monitoring (ConMon), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet mission and cybersecurity objectives. The role also supports operations and sustainment across interconnected domains, ensures compliance with IT asset management guidelines, and defines acquisition and disposal strategies for enterprise hardware and software.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    TS/SCI Clearance with CI Poly adjudicated within 7 years

     

    Bachelor's in STEM with 9+ years of experience as a System Administrator

     

    Security + or higher

     

    Strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server administration.

     

    Strong troubleshooting, log analysis, and problem-solving skills.

     

    Background in virtualization infrastructure, including VMware, vCenter, ESXi

     

    Experience writing scripts in Bash, Ansible, and/or PowerShell

     

    Experience in infrastructure hardening and compliance validation aligned with DISA STIG, RMF, and NIST 800-53 frameworks

     

    Comfortable operating in high-tempo, classified environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and cybersecurity teams. Kubernetes, Docker, containerization

     

    Advanced experience managing Certificate Authorities (CAs), including subordinate CA setup, certificate lifecycle automation, and PKI integration for authentication, web, and system services

     

    Proficiency with Active Directory design, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS/DHCP, and multi-site replication
