    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Security Engineer to join one of their utility clients in the DFW area. This individual will play a key role in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats across the organization. This position involves triaging security alerts, identifying false positives, and leveraging EDR/XDR tools—such as SentinelOne—to detect and mitigate risks. The engineer will support incident response efforts and contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.

    Skills and Requirements

    • At least 4 years of experience in security engineering

    • Hands-on experience working with EDR/XDR tools or antivirus software, such as SentinelOne

    • Expertise with Active Directory

    • Strong communication and attention to detail

    • Minimum of a 2-year degree and equivalent working experience · Expertise in SentinelOne, CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender, Cisco Secure Endpoint, etc.

    • Previous experience with Vulnerability Management

    • Knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM) and CyberArk

    • Experience documenting SOPs

    • Certifications such as CISSP or Security· Experience within cloud environments

    • Background in Security Operations Center (SOC)

    • Exposure to SCADA or Operational Technology (OT) environments
