Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a qualified Secret SAP Data Services Architect in support of one of are large federal clients in Norfolk, VA (but can also sit remote). This candidate will be supporting a naval program that has a strategic initiative aimed at modernizing and streamlining the Navy’s maintenance and logistics systems. As part of the SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementation, the SAP Data Services ETL Developer plays a critical role in migrating legacy data into the new enterprise system, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and usability for mission-critical operations. The mission of this role is to enable seamless data transformation and integration from non-SAP legacy systems into SAP S/4HANA, supporting the Navy’s digital transformation and operational readiness. This position directly contributes to the success of the NMMES program by ensuring high-quality data migration and integration processes that align with agile development and federal standards. Their day to day will include but is not limited to:

• Design, develop, and implement SAP Data Services ETL solutions to extract, cleanse, transform, and load data from legacy systems into SAP S/4HANA.

• Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Build and maintain data integration workflows, mappings, and transformations using SAP Data Services Designer.

• Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity of migrated data.

• Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.

• Coordinate with SAP Basis and other technical teams to ensure smooth integration and system performance.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation including technical specifications, data mappings, and user guides.

• Stay current with SAP Data Services best practices, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve solution delivery.

Compensation: $86.30/hr. to $96.15/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• 5–10 years of experience in SAP Data Services or similar ETL tools.

• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementations.

• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and release management processes.

• Experience working in federal or public sector SAP consulting environments.

• Active Secret Clearance
