Job Description
Insight Global's client is seeking licensed clinical professionals. This person will be working with patients diagnosed with mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
The Substance Use Counselor / Clinician provides direct treatment, support, and advocacy for individuals experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. The clinician facilitates both individual and group therapy sessions, engages clients in treatment planning, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and coordinated care across all program levels. The counselor plays a vital role in promoting recovery through the use of evidence-based practices, clinical documentation, and active participation in ongoing program development.

Skills and Requirements
• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in a human services field.
• Active Maryland licensure or certification, including one of the following: LCADC, LGADC, CAC, CSC, or ADT (trainee). Other equivalent behavioral health credentials may be considered.
• Demonstrated experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment models and clinical documentation standards.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Ability to provide both in-person and virtual (telehealth) treatment.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and clinical documentation practices. - Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree is preferred
