    Job Description

    Day to Day:

    Insight Global is looking for a Purchasing Analyst to join the team of one of its largest Automotive OEM clients headquartered in Metro Detroit, MI. This person can either sit remotely in South America or Europe, but must be able to work daily until 12pm est. This person must be fluent in English, and have great soft skills. They will be supporting the Purchasing organization of the client working within specific domains around Services, Software, Hardware, Network, Telecom, etc.

    - Specific Responsibilities:

    • Procurement Management: Purchase IT equipment, software, and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition.

    • Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure the best deals.

    • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with Company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.

    • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of IT contract entitlements.

    • Contract Management: Oversee the lifecycle of IT contracts, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.

    • Collaboration: Work closely with IT and other departments to understand their needs and provide procurement support.

     

    Reporting: Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and vendor performance to senior management

     

    Compensation: $10/hr to $16/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree required

    • 7-8+ years of experience within Procurement, Purchasing or Supply Chain

    • Experience within various IT categories:

    • Software, Managed Services, Hardware, Network, Telecom

    • Extensive experience with MSAs redlining, & contract negotiations

    • Excellent negotiating & problem solving skills

    • Excellent soft skills as well as reporting skills
