    + Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a full time MHA (mental health associate) to work the evening shift within Princeton House Behavioral Health (PHBH). This position is within Wing 1 (Voluntary Psych/Dual diagnosis for psych) with 14 beds.

    + We understand the unique recovery challenges of people with co-occurring disorders and treat both conditions at the same time. That’s why people with both a mental health and substance use disorder receive specialized care at Princeton House. Outcomes show that this approach reduces the risk of relapse and improves the chances of long-term recovery.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    + The Mental Health Associate assists Registered Nurses in providing direct psychiatric and medical care to patients.

    + The Mental Health Associate participates as a member of the treatment team in creating and maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.

    Scheduling Requirements:

    + Required to five evening shifts (3pm-11:30pm) including every other weekend and every other holiday.

    What We Require for this Role:

    Education

    + Bachelor of Arts or Science (required).

    + Education specialization: Social Science preferred.

    LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 3 months of hire.

    + Valid driver’s license in employee’s state of residence with a record in good standing required.

    Salary Range:

    $18.11 - $28.86/Hourly
