The Tax Manager – Income Tax Reporting plays a critical role in managing the company’s global income tax reporting and accounting processes. This role is responsible for leading the global ASC 740 tax provision process and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with global tax and accounting standards. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership, communication, and project management skills — and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Income Tax Accounting & Reporting
• Lead the global ASC 740 tax provision process, including planning, forecasting, calculation, recording, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and U.S. GAAP accounting standards.
• Review and analyze temporary differences, valuation allowances, and uncertain tax positions.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to ensure accurate reporting and disclosures.
Process Improvement & Systems Optimization
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization of global tax accounting and reporting processes.
• Lead automation initiatives and leverage technology tools such as OneSource Tax Provision (OTP), OneSource Income Tax (OIT), Power BI, and Alteryx.
• Support integration of tax systems with enterprise-wide ERP systems to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
Strategic & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate closely with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and Technical Accounting teams to align tax strategies with business objectives.
• Partner with Finance and non-Finance leaders on value-add strategic projects that impact tax operations and business performance.
• Provide insights on tax accounting implications of business transactions, M&A activity, and new regulatory developments.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
• Communicate complex tax concepts in a clear, actionable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree in Taxation preferred.
• CPA certification strongly preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in tax accounting and compliance, including experience in both public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and a multinational corporate environment.
• Advanced knowledge of ASC 740, accounting for uncertain tax positions, and tax implications of M&A.
• Proven experience managing corporate income tax reporting for multinational entities.
• Demonstrated success in process improvement, automation, and system transformation projects.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tax software tools (e.g., OneSource Tax Provision).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

The pay range for this position is $129,500 to $150,000, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
