SAIC seeks an experienced Hardware Engineer Senior to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in performing operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions in support of the government customer, the SAIC Program Manager, and the Chief Engineer. This position is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Job Duties:
+ Provide expert obsolescence engineering support to multiple program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
+ Conduct thorough analyses including obsolescence, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS), sparing, risk, and operational impact assessments.
+ Present analysis results effectively through comprehensive written communications in the Quarterly Contracts Data Requirements List (CDRL) Supportability Analysis Report, and verbally during monthly Supply Support IPT meetings.
+ Collaborate closely with vendors, depot engineers, and logisticians to develop and implement actionable recommendations for obsolescence mitigation.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with no prior experience.
+ Active Secret Clearance.
+ Proficiency in interpreting and understanding technical documentation such as Technical Orders, Indentured Parts Lists, and Specification Sheets.

+ Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage effectively with vendors and cross-functional teams.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
