    What’s a typical day as a Cabinet Maker II? You’ll be:

     

    + Fabricating aircraft furniture and wood-surfaced subassemblies using blueprints, design, and engineering drawings

    + Assembling and finishing cabinet shells, including installing hardware and applying laminates, veneers, and trim materials

    + Using hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble parts with precision

    + Maintaining compliance with all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards

    + Tracking work and parts using the company’s material tracking system

    + Supporting process improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma techniques

    This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

    + A **High School Diploma or GED**

    + **Basic knowledge** of cabinetmaking processes, products, and tools

    + At least **2 years of experience in cabinetmaking**

    + Experience in the **aerospace industry** (preferred)

    + Familiarity with **Gulfstream inspection and process specifications** (preferred)

    You’ll also need to:

    + Be able to read, write, and understand English

    + Be physically able to climb ladders, work in small spaces, and lift up to 40 lbs

    + Be comfortable working any shift

    + Be **computer literate**
