• Retirement Plan Manager

    US Tech Solutions (Queens County, NY)


    Work Mode: Remote – Minimal travel for occasional team meetings

     

    Duration: 6-month contract with the possibility for extension

    Overview:

    + We’re looking for a Retirement Plan Manager to oversee and manage a suite of retirement benefits programs. This role plays a key part in supporting employees’ long-term financial well-being by managing plan administration, vendor partnerships, and compliance initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Oversee relationships with plan providers, consultants, and third-party administrators.

    + Manage vendor contracts, renewals, RFPs, and benefit strategy.

    + Analyze plan utilization and recommend program enhancements aligned with business needs.

    + Implement plan changes through collaboration with Payroll, HRIS, and HR Business Partners.

    + Lead annual plan reviews, testing, and audits; prepare reports and compliance filings.

    + Ensure alignment between plan terms, system configurations, and vendor file specifications.

    + Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal to ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations.

    + Develop communications to increase employee understanding and engagement with retirement benefits.

    + Serve as a subject matter expert to resolve complex benefit-related inquiries.

    + Support M&A integration efforts and retirement plan transitions.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

    + 5+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration with a focus on retirement plans.

    + Strong analytical, financial, and project management skills.

    + Deep understanding of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations.

    + Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

    + Experience with Workday HRIS, ADP Payroll, and ServiceNow is a plus.

    + Self-driven professional capable of working independently and collaboratively.
