As an Automation Processing Support Supervisor, you will lead a team of IT professionals dedicated to defining, developing and maintaining automation systems that enhance organizational efficiency and reliability. In this role, you will oversee both the technical and administrative functions of the IT Department while remaining hands-on with technology processes, tools and infrastructure. You will serve as a technical resource and mentor to your team, collaborate across departments to align automation initiatives with organizational goals and ensure that systems operate seamlessly to support both clinical and non-clinical operations.
This position directly supports Cleveland Clinic's mission by maintaining and improving robotic process automation (RPA) solutions that reduce manual workloads, increase accuracy and create capacity for caregivers to focus on exceptional patient care-offering the opportunity to combine cutting-edge automation work with the purpose of advancing world-class healthcare.
A caregiver in this position works remotely from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
+ Supervise a team of IT professionals and oversee the technical and administrative functions of the IT Department.
+ Maintain hands-on responsibility for technology processes, tools and system performance.
+ Serve as a technical resource and mentor to team members, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
+ Develop and maintain effective, high-performing teams through coaching, performance reviews and engagement initiatives.
+ Maintain appropriate staffing levels, approve and schedule paid time off and leave requests and ensure workload balance.
+ Collaborate across departments to achieve organizational goals and implement initiatives that support both clinical and non-clinical units.
+ Assist the Director or Manager in operational and strategic planning for the IT Department, including fostering innovation, planning projects and allocating resources.
+ Benchmark, analyze and report on IT infrastructure and systems, making recommendations for improvement and growth.
+ Supervise the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software and peripherals.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ *Additional progressively responsible work experience in IT or related field/industry may offset degree requirement*
+ Four years of strong technical knowledge of common network, server and/or PC operating systems
+ Extensive application support experience with core enterprise/divisional clinical and/or business applications
+ Strong communication, interpersonal and project management skills
+ Understanding of human resource management principles, practices and procedures
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Advanced knowledge/experience with project management practices
+ Technical certifications in Customer Relationship Management, Computer Maintenance, Project Management, Information Security, Networking, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications and/or application support domains
+ Experience in IT infrastructure planning and development
+ Experience monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining bots built in tools like UI Path, Power Automate and Microsoft Power Platform
+ SQL and scripting knowledge
+ Ability to triage production issues, reprocess failed transactions and communicate with both business users and development teams
+ Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools, with demonstrated comfort working in a fast-paced automated environment

Pay Range
Minimum Annual Salary: $84,200.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $128,412.50
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
