    SUMMARY

    Cleans and sanitizes according to EVS procedures. Performs special cleaning/EVS procedures

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Has demonstrated proficiency in all responsibilities as required by Tech I.

    + Understands all waste types and is able to dispose of in correct manner.

    + Demonstrates knowledge of different floor types and has ability to scrub, burnish and refinish floors.

    + Assists in training of new employees in EVS procedures.

    + Hang cubicle and window curtains.

    + Utilize paging system and spectra link phones.

    + Utilize HEV system ? Routinely clean isolation rooms

    + Ability to work without constant supervision

    + Ability to understand process of UV disinfection and operate UV System.

    + Transport patient beds, mattresses and bed extenders as needed to and from rooms. Complete all necessary paperwork for transport.

    + Any other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor .

    QUALIFICATIONS

    HS Diploma or GED equivalent preferred; however, requisite experience in similar role will be considered in lieu of educational requirement when necessary and appropriate. Ability to follow written and oral instructions necessary.
