    Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a **Senior Chief of Staff** to support the **Vice President** and **Attack Helicopter Programs** located in **Mesa, AZ** .

     

    This Chief of Staff position is leading and managing Mesa Site and Attack Helicopter Programs within the portfolio of Boeing Defense, Space & Security.

     

    The successful candidate will be responsible for all elements to propose, manage, and ensure execution of various programs across the Mesa Site. The position will coordinate with key stakeholders across functions and capabilities within Boeing as well as externally with supplier and customers.

     

    The ideal candidate will be proactive, demonstrate a robust attention to detail and an ability to adjust priorities efficiently and effectively. They will also have the ability to quickly familiarize themselves at a high level with focus areas, as well as the ability to shift from supporting work in one area to the next.

    Position Responsibilities:

    + Responsible for planning, managing, and execution of activities across Mesa Site and Attack Programs.

    + Supports site focused activities including All Manager meetings, Program Management Reviews, Vertical Lift Reviews, Executive Quality Review Board (EQRB), Integrated Product Teams (IPT), and Program Continuous Improvement.

    + Supports high level U.S. Army and International customer meetings and engagements.

    + Supports local government and community meetings and engagements.

    + Demonstrates proficiency in all project management, verbal and written communication, and Microsoft Office, with a focus on PowerPoint and Excel.

    + Collaborative leadership to coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage metrics, scope, schedule, and execution of deliverables.

    + Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation; ability to adjust and pivot for planned and unplanned changes.

    + Provides in depth analysis; identify lessons learned, provide historical reports to incorporate into future project plans.

    + Acquires resources for organizational activities and leads process improvements.

    + Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners.

    + Travel in accordance with business needs.

     

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

     

    This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    + 3+ years' of experience working with senior level/executive level management

    + 3+ years' of experience communicating with internal and external customers

    + 3+ years' of experience in creating executive level briefings

    + 5+ years' of experience working with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams

    + Experience in partnering with executives to develop and manage data, metrics and analysis

    + Experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    + Effective written and verbal communication across diverse audiences

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    + A Bachelor’s degree or higher

    + 3+ years' of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding

    + Digital Navigator experience in support of BDS Stability Levers

    + Experience in BORIS supporting Program risk, issue, opportunity documentation

    + Experience in a production environment

    Relocation:

    Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

    Travel:

    Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

    Summary pay range: USD $107,950 – $146,050
