    **Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS)** is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager (Level K) to support out F/A – 18 SLM team in Berkeley, MO.

     

    The Manufacturing Operations Manager is an exciting opportunity to manage, develop, and motivated a high performing team of employees on the F/A – 18 Service Life Modification (SLM) Program.

    Position Responsibilities:

    + Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines

    + Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies

    + Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

    + Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

    + Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

    + Manages, develops and motivates employees

     

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    + 3+ years’ experience in a leadership role leading multi-disciplinary teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change

    + 3+ years’ experience working with or supporting military aircraft

    + 5+ years’ experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    + Experience with F/A-18 maintenance operations

    + F/A - 18 Retrofit experience or fleet support

    + Experience managing with collective bargaining agreement and/or a union-represented workforce

    + Bachelor’s degree or higher

    + This position may require travel up to 10% of the time

    Summary pay range: $104,550 – $141,450 USD

    Security Clearance

     

    This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
